What is Integrative Nutrition Health Coaching (INHC)?
An Integrative Nutrition Health Coach is a guide and mentor who empowers you and provides ongoing support and guidance as you set intentions and make sustainable changes that improve your health and happiness.
As your Health Coach, I will listen carefully and we’ll navigate the world of contradictory nutrition and health advice together to explore what works best for you.
Your personalized plan
I’ll help you develop a customized plan that takes your individual physical, emotional and lifestyle factors into account and fits with the way you live – and ultimately leads you to permanent, positive change.
Set and fulfill your INtentions
We’ll work together to facilitate your health transformation in areas such as weight management, reducing food cravings, increasing sleep, and maximizing energy. As we work together, you’ll develop a deeper understanding of the food and lifestyle choices that work best for you and implement lasting changes that will improve your energy, balance, and health.
You are NOT alone
Changing long-held negative behaviors, beliefs and attitudes is challenging. Making big changes can also be a lonely road – but not if you have a health coach to hold your hand, guide you on the path and keep you accountable.
How does it work?
- Work with the whole person, take the time to listen to your concerns and ask powerful questions to help motivate you to make changes.
- Facilitate inquiry and personal discovery.
- Provide additional resources for making healthy behavior changes.
- A great coach walks the walk and knows what to do
- Your coach is your ally, a life and game changer
- Health coaching is a collaborative effort between the client and the coach
- The coach asks their client what type of changes they are willing to make, instead of telling them which changes they should make.
- Coaching helps facilitate behavior change in a structured, supportive partnership between you and your coach.
- Coaches can help you to identify obstacles to change and create strategies for forward movement.
- Sessions can take place over the telephone, in person or via live video call.
